3/22 - Matching Donation Challenge!!!

The "Wild Horse, Wild Ride" Saddle Up Benefit Night Out this last weekend was a great sucess! With the auction and donations rasing $4,068.91 -- PLUS, a generous Arlington graduate and supporter put up a matching-fund challenge up to $5,000. So the total raised is $8,137.82

Not Done Yet! The donor has extended the challenge so any further donations through Sunday, March 31 will count towards the matching up to $5,000. That leaves us with $931 to get $1 to $1 matching!

Can you help donate to get 1-to-1 matching of the last $931 by March 31??? Donate NOW!

About "Save the Olympic Theatre"

The Olympic Theatre "Save the Olympic Theatre" is a group of community members interested in the future of the Olympic Theatre located in downtown Arlington, WA.

The Olympic Theatre, a 73-year-old movie theater which first opened in 1939, is facing an uncertain future with the Movie Film Industry to cease production of 35mm film in 2013. The owner, Norma Pappas, is unsure the future of the theater and how much longer she can run "in the red" or afford a whole new digital projector system (~$50k - $75k).

Our goal is to help keep this iconic and historical business stay open by raising $30,000 in support for a projector system and renovation/maintenance to the theater! Contact us and let us know of your support!

Volunteers Needed!!!

Before we look into fundraising or donations, we are hoping to help the Olympic Theatre with immediate needs. Basic weekly/monthly needs or on-call volunteers are needed for items like electrical work, plumbing and handy work repairs. View more information on our Volunteer Page!
